From Deer Park, Texas, McKenna joined the Griffin team as a Communications Intern in Fall 2018. Since coming on full-time, she has played a key role in project execution for our clients in the education sect. McKenna brings strength in the areas of traditional marketing and strategic communications and has also become our go-to gal for client social media. She continues to grow in her passion for all things media relations!
McKenna works closely with her account leads to execute effective communications strategies and deliver an above-and-beyond product for the client. For the Conrad Foundation, McKenna conducts all student communications, assists in managing and coordinating event logistics, works closely with Conrad Challenge Alumni, manages social media, and provides digital support. For the Aldrin Family Foundation, she composes and distributes press materials, manages social media, and supports in the execution of media activities. Other client leadership roles include the Association of Space Explorers, Nick Grace Management, and Kuraray America.
Prior to her time at Griffin, McKenna attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where she practiced vocal and guitar performance, worked as a Resident Assistant, and completed 4 other marketing and events internships… One of which landed her overseas! Upon graduation, McKenna received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) degree as well as a minor in Spanish.
